The Indigenous Emerging Business Forum (IEBF) was held in Perth, Western Australia on Friday September 24, 2021. This event was started to encourage and assist growth in Indigenous owned and operated business. It offers indigenous businesses the opportunity to strengthen their networks and showcase what they have to offer.

In its second successful year, the forum had 700 attendees and was broken into two sessions, which was streamed live to viewers Australia wide. The morning session was filled with presentations from various inspirational indigenous Australian leaders including an interview with Australian former professional boxer and former rugby league footballer Anthony Mundine. Followed by 93 exhibitors, showcasing their businesses which included everything from food, fashion to technology.

This year Aria Technologies was a Gold Sponsor of the event and during the morning session hosted a virtual panel discussion. It was led by Aria Technologies’ Peter Williamson, and the discussion highlighted how our solutions have had the flexibility to support businesses throughout the pandemic. Marlon Samson from Aria Technologies represented Ericsson-LG on this panel, articulating how the iPECS solutions have been able to make a positive difference for many Australian businesses during this time.

Due to travel restrictions the Aria Technologies team was unable to attend the event in person. We were very lucky to have Alex Ross and Nel Sam from Telstra Business Technology Centre Perth North, manage our stand and share the benefits of the Ericsson-LG iPECS solutions with attendees.
