Bezeq International recently completed the project of iPECS Cloud environment movement to new Data Center (“Shaham”).
Bezeq international and Ericsson-LG Enterprise implemented iPECS Cloud environment more than five years ago at Bezeq International’s first Data Center (“Bareket”). Soon after opening Bezeq international’s sixth Data Center Shaham, it was decided to move iPECS Cloud environment to more advanced and newer Data Center Shaham.
The project also included upgrading iPECS Cloud to version 4.0 and implementing iPECS ONE with iPECS Analytics.
The project was planned in a professionally and meticulously way, accompanied by a dedicated qualified project manager.
Bezeq international solution architects designed the new environment topology, and it was carried out including preliminary preparations by Bezeq International’s technical teams from various areas including Networking, System, ISP/ITSP and Security.
During the project several old servers were replaced, all versions were upgrades by the server vendors, new servers were added for iPECS ONE solution.
All project phases starting from planning through execution and upgrading the environment were done with full cooperation and close supervision of Ericsson-LG Enterprise teams, this is a best opportunity to express Bezeq international’s thanks and high appreciations to the teams of Ericsson-LG Enterprise.
The actual implementation project was carried out after business hours with minimum downtime, then no effects to the customers.
As preparation for iPECS Cloud version 4.0 and iPECS ONE, both technical and sales trainings were done to Bezeq international teams and high enthusiasm with the new solutions and capabilities was seen.
Establishment of iPECS Cloud on the new Data Center Shaham is bringing feels of a new beginning, together with the advanced iPECS ONE & iPECS Analytics solutions are answering the market requirements.
Bezeq international has a strong trust and confidence in iPECS Cloud and hopes to increase the sales and to penetrate iPECS Cloud into Israel SME and Enterprise markets as well.
