It’s been a busy month for Presence Management with their participation in Ideacom 2022 and NextGen Technology Group conferences. Combined, both organizations provide access to over 185 dealers across the US.
Presence Management participated in the Ideacom 2022 show in Tucson, Arizona May 22 through May 24. Presence Management has been a member and partner with Ideacom for over 10 years. Ideacom is an organization with over 130 members engaged in sales and support of telephony, audio and video, security, monitoring and reporting products and services.
Each year Ideacom hosts a venue where selected partners can exhibit and present to the general Ideacom channel with their products and services. This year there were 35 partners exhibiting, with Presence Management showing and demonstrating the vUCP for cloud solutions and premise platforms. Bob Rankin and Paul Keith attended and manned the booth for product demos and application discussions. Bob was also a featured speaker during the first day’s presentations.
Rich Tehrani, CEO of TCM, was the keynote speaker discussing the current state of the US technology market and where he sees the market progressing in the coming year.
“This year’s show was extremely successful with Presence Management recruiting two new dealers looking to sell the iPECS vUCP cloud solution and the iPECS line for digital premise applications, a market that remains very strong in the US”, stated Bob Rankin.
“Bob has once again brought his extensive knowledge of the telephony market and technology to our community”, said Rich Gralto, CEO of Ideacom. “Bob always informs and educates our channel on various technologies and applications and the Presence Management booth was one the most popular and most trafficked venues”.
Following immediately on the successful trip to Tucson, Bob trekked to Philadelphia for the annual NextGen Technology Group conference from June 6 to June 7. NextGen Technology Group is a national organization comprised of a select group of 45 technology integrators who seek business growth
rewards by embracing next-generation IP based solutions and drawing on the best practices of other “Best in Class” members.
Representing nearly $90M in revenue and service to over 30,000 customers through a consortium of 45 dealers, NextGen arose from six original Vodavi President’s Club members who were among the early IP telephony pioneers and who have who have a combined 117 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
As a founding member of the organization, Bob is well respected for his presentations on evolving markets and technologies and his insight on revenue enhancement geared toward traditional and non-traditional recurring revenue opportunities. Ericsson-LG Enterprise iPECS is positioned first and foremost as the traditional premise technology solution of choice as well as the cloud-based solution for those looking to take advantage of cloud or cloud-premise hybrid solutions. The continued large prevalence of digital solution demand in the US market provides a strong incentive for the iPECS solution.
Over the two days of the conference, Bob demonstrated the iPECS vUCP, its capabilities and revenue opportunities to the group, many of whom have been Ericsson-LG Enterprise iPECS resellers for some time. The iPECS hybrid solution is viewed as a strong solution for premise solutions and for a migration solution from premise to cloud.
Bob also presented Presence Management’s new agreement with Clearfly offers a turnkey billing solution whereby Clearfly accepts responsibility for billing the end user and collection of all payments, freeing up the dealer concentrate on sales and marketing.
“We think the Clearfly relationship is a logical next step for dealers wishing to enter the hosted iPECS world without having to ramp up additional support as an alternative to current hosted providers. This relationship allows the dealer to maintain total ownership of the client”, according to Bob Rankin.
