A historic moment occurred on July 7, 2025, as Blue Technologies, with iPECS Cloud, successfully became the first carrier to achieve SIP interconnection in Cyprus. This milestone is an achievement that resulted from the joint efforts of Blue Technologies and IPECS.
Blue Technologies delivered an extensive presentation to their Cypriot resellers’ network and key prospective clients from July 8 to 11. The feedback was that iPECS Cloud would be a game changer, as no competitor could offer seamless advanced collaboration, enhanced flexibility, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and integration capabilities with end-to-end solutions.
Cyprus is a mature cloud telephony market, with at least 75% of new inquiries expected to be for cloud service providers. The joint efforts to introduce iPECS Cloud in Cyprus will capitalize on rapid market share penetration, thanks to the practical branding efforts. They introduced iPECS Cloud as a secure, premium cloud platform offering a cost-effective price-to-quality ratio.
Branding is key to diversifying and distinguishing from competitors that focus on pricing. Most competitors offer VoIP telephony based on outdated legacy systems or Asterisk-based solutions. Blue Technologies inculcates into the resellers’ network that iPECS Cloud (part of Ericsson) is the only UCaaS platform that offers a secure, cost-effective end-to-end solution on Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, or Private Cloud configuration.
