Pragma Technologies hosted its 2021 Awards virtually on March 25th 2021 from its Head Office. The awards recognised some of the achievements that Pragma’s UK partners had accomplished during what has been a difficult and unpredictable year. This was reflected by the theme of the event, Still Stronger Together. The awards provided a chance for the network of partners to get together, undertake online networking and build on growing relationships. Prior to the awards, party packs including drinks and snacks were sent to attendees for them to enjoy during the ceremony.

Will Morey, Sales and Marketing Director at Pragma was keen to congratulate all attendees both for the awards received and for the work they have done:

“As an industry I think we’ve been incredibly lucky to have seen continued growth in our business and continued demand for our services. We’ve been able to help businesses move to the cloud or deploy technology that supports working from home or flexible working. At Pragma, we’re seriously looking forward to the next 12 months and we’re really positive about the opportunity that lies ahead for all of us. We’ve got lots more exciting product announcements coming up on the Pragma road map.”

When it came to the awards it was Berry Technologies who walked away with the prestigious Overall Reseller of the Year Award for the third year in a row. The Berry team had a great year in 2020 and they were very deserving winners. Other notable winners were 5G Communications who won Cloud Reseller of the Year and Mint Telecom who won Case Study of the Year. In terms of the newcomers, Excell Group & Cloud Voice & Data won a joint award for New Reseller of the Year.

Ericsson-LG Enterprise’s CEO Patrick Johansson was also in attendance and he expressed his gratitude at the great strides that UK teams had made in the past year:

“Thank you all for such a great performance during an exceedingly difficult and challenging year, it is absolutely amazing that we’ve come through it so strongly and I’m very thankful for your continued support of iPECS. I’m also happy to see some more new members joining the iPECS family and I’m looking forward seeing what the future holds. In terms of new functionality, we have the fantastic iPECS ONE and many other new innovations around the corner, we’re very thankful for the great feedback that we received we will continue to innovate to make sure we offer a great experience for our partners and of course the end users.”

Pragma supports many great charities, and the award ceremony also helped raise funds for Cancer Research UK and St Peter & St James’ hospice, a charity close to the heart of Pragma’s founders. The event raised over £4,000 thanks to the generous contribution of ceremony attendees.

At Ericsson-LG Enterprise we offer our best wishes to the Pragma team and congratulations to all of their great partners for another outstanding year. We look forward to meeting with our UK partners again soon.
