On July 28, we hosted another IPECS Insights session, bringing together our global partner community to share the latest developments across the IPECS portfolio.

This month’s session was presented by Keunsup Choi, who shared the outcomes of the recent Product Management Meeting in Seoul, where product leaders reviewed market trends, partner feedback, and future priorities for the IPECS portfolio. The presentation explored five key themes shaping the roadmap: customer experience, open APIs, AI, user experience, and vertical market opportunities. Together, these priorities demonstrate how IPECS is continuing to evolve in response to changing customer requirements while creating new opportunities for partners around the world.

Expanding customer experience capabilities

Customer experience was one of the key themes discussed throughout the presentation.

Keunsup shared progress on Light CX, which continues to evolve as an accessible customer engagement solution within the wider IPECS portfolio. The updates demonstrated how IPECS is expanding its customer experience capabilities while maintaining the flexibility that partners need to support organizations of different sizes and requirements.

As customer expectations continue to rise, businesses are looking for solutions that improve engagement without adding unnecessary complexity. By continuing to invest in customer experience, IPECS is helping partners deliver solutions that strengthen customer relationships while complementing our broader contact center ecosystem.

Strengthening the IPECS ecosystem

Integration remains another major area of development.

Keunsup highlighted ongoing development of the IPECS API, future developer resources, and continued enhancements that will make it easier for partners to connect IPECS with CRM platforms and other business applications. As organizations increasingly expect their communications platform to work seamlessly with the wider technology stack, open integration has become a key differentiator.

This will enable partners to develop more tailored solutions, simplify customer workflows, and build greater value around the IPECS platform. They also reinforce our commitment to creating an open ecosystem that encourages innovation rather than limiting it.

Practical AI for everyday business

Artificial intelligence featured prominently throughout the roadmap update.

Rather than focusing on AI as a standalone technology, the presentation highlighted practical capabilities that solve everyday business challenges. Features including transcription, conversation summaries, and sentiment analysis are designed to help organizations improve productivity, gain deeper insight into customer interactions, and support faster, more informed decision-making.

As AI continues to become an important part of enterprise communications, IPECS remains focused on delivering capabilities that provide measurable business value. By integrating AI into existing workflows, partners can introduce meaningful innovation while helping customers realize immediate benefits from their communications platform.

Improving the user experience

Alongside new functionality, Keunsup also shared continued investment in overall user experience.

Enhancements across administration, licensing, analytics, and usability are designed to make the platform easier to deploy, manage, and support. While these improvements may not always be the most visible additions, they play an important role in reducing complexity for both partners and end users.

Creating a more consistent experience across the IPECS portfolio also makes it easier for organizations to adopt new capabilities as the platform continues to evolve, ensuring innovation is matched by simplicity and ease of use.

Supporting vertical market growth

The presentation concluded by exploring opportunities across key vertical markets.

Rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all approach, IPECS continues to invest in the flexibility that allows partners to address the specific needs of different industries. Through open APIs, integrations, and continued platform development, partners are well positioned to create tailored solutions for sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality, and many others.

This approach enables partners to combine industry expertise with the flexibility of the IPECS platform, creating differentiated solutions that solve real operational challenges and deliver long-term value for customers.

Looking ahead

The Product Management Meeting provided valuable insight into the direction of the IPECS roadmap and the priorities that will shape future development. While each of the five themes focused on a different aspect of the portfolio, together they reflect a clear strategy centered on practical innovation, stronger integration, and delivering greater value for partners and customers alike.

By continuing to invest in customer experience, AI, APIs, user experience, and vertical market solutions, IPECS is equipping partners with the tools they need to differentiate, address changing customer requirements, and continue growing their business.

We would like to thank everyone who joined this month’s IPECS Insights session and look forward to sharing further updates in future webinars.
