Global partners and product leaders collaborate to shape the next generation of AI-powered communications
Bringing together product leaders and global partners from across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Asia, the 2026 IPECS Product Management (PM) Meeting provided a collaborative forum to transform market insight into future product innovation.
Over three days, participants reviewed market trends, validated roadmap priorities and aligned technologies and strategic focus areas that will shape the next generation of AI-powered communications.
While the Global Partner Conference (GPC) celebrates partnership and shared success, the annual PM Meeting is where future products begin to take shape, bringing together product strategy and real-world market experience to ensure innovation is driven by customer needs.
Building the Roadmap Together
Opening the workshop, KS Choi, Head of PP Team, encouraged partners to view the product roadmap not as a finalized plan, but as the starting point for collaborative discussion.
Welcoming participants, Moonkyu Kim, CTO, emphasized the unique role of the PM Meeting within the IPECS partner ecosystem.
“There are two big events in IPECS. One is the GPC, and one is the PM Meeting.”
Describing GPC as a celebration of partnership, he explained that the PM Meeting is where those relationships are translated into future products and innovations.
To maximize the value of the discussions, Moonkyu encouraged participants to keep three principles in mind:
- Get to the point.
- Prioritize what matters.
- Find our uniqueness.
“Not every feature needs to be unique,” he said. “But something must.”
From Strategy to Collaboration
Building on that message, KS shared IPECS’ view of the evolving communications market, highlighting AI-powered communications, customer engagement, APIs and vertical solutions as key growth areas.
Rather than presenting a fixed roadmap, the sessions created a framework for discussion, encouraging partners to validate priorities through real customer feedback and regional market insight.
Throughout the workshop, KS Choi, together with James Kim, Soyoung Kim and Sungbum Park, Product Managers at IPECS, led roadmap discussions covering IPECS ONE, Messaging, Analytics, Cloud Platform and AI services.
Supporting these discussions, Minhong Ryu, Head of Customer Success Operation Team, presented the company’s API-first strategy and third-party integration plans, while Grant Park, Technical Account Manager, shared resiliency enhancements. Hansol Lee, Technical Curriculum Developer, introduced a new web-based documentation platform to further strengthen partner enablement.
Across every session, partners openly shared customer feedback, operational experience and regional market perspectives, helping validate priorities and refine future product direction.
Turning Discussion into Action
As the workshop concluded, KS Choi thanked partners for their active participation, emphasizing that the goal was not simply to create a longer list of feature requests, but to identify what matters most and translate discussion into meaningful action.
Ahed Alkahtib, Head of Sales & Marketing, thanked everyone involved in the workshop—including the product teams and global partners—for their openness and valuable contributions throughout the three-day event. He noted that the true value of the meeting lay not in generating more ideas, but in agreeing on the priorities that matter most and turning discussions into meaningful actions.
Reflecting on the event, Moonkyu Kim, CTO, shared one of the workshop’s most memorable messages:
“My previous boss always told me that the answer always lies in the field. Today I can confirm it’s true.”
“It is truly meaningful for me and my team to hear your voice directly. This workshop helped fill the gap between the market and the product.”
PM Meeting 2026 reaffirmed a core principle at the heart of IPECS’ product strategy: the best innovations are built through continuous collaboration with partners and customers. The insights shared throughout the workshop will continue shaping future product development as IPECS advances its AI, cloud and customer experience strategy.
